AVS 70 is Still On!
AVS has contacted our partners in Tampa as we finalize plans for the AVS 70th International Symposium & Exhibition. The Tampa International Airport and the Tampa Convention Center have all returned to normal operations. In addition, the conference hotels – the Marriott Water Street, Embassy Suites, and the Westin Tampa are all also open and ready to welcome guests.
Visit Tampa Bay has provided an official Welcome Statement and in light of this news, AVS will proceed with our Symposium & Exhibition at the Tampa Convention Center, November 3-8. We anticipate the conference will run smoothly, with our world-class technical sessions, exhibition, and many special events and networking opportunities.
While we are excited to welcome you to Tampa, we know that many residents of the state of Florida have been negatively affected by Hurricane Milton. We continue to hope for a full and robust recovery for everyone. This conference will boost the local economy in the Tampa area; by attending, you are helping to assist in the recovery.
