Reservations can be cancelled without penalty up to five business days prior to the day of arrival. NOTE: Failure to arrive on your confirmed arrival date will result in one night’s room & tax charged to the credit card provided and your entire reservation will be cancelled. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.

Due to hotel stipulations, a minimum number of blocked rooms must be utilized by the AVS; therefore, the FINAL day to cancel your reservation without penalty is 5:00 pm EST on October 2, 2024. Reservations cancelled AFTER 5:00 pm EST on October 2, 2024, will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax per reservation. NOTE: The reservation cancellation fee is in addition to any hotel charges you may incur. If you cancel directly with the hotel, you will still be charged the cancellation fee. You are also subject to your individual hotel’s cancellation policy. Hotel requires cancellation of five business days prior to the day of arrival. Luggage Storage:

Nursing Mothers:
AVS will provide a private room for nursing mothers. Arrangements should be made in advance, by contacting Della Miller, della@avs.org.
Recycle and Compost:
Tampa Convention Center has recycling containers both within and outside the building for food and beverage packaging and bottles. Additionally, we recycle large volumes of cardboard using our City of Tampa recycling compactor. We have created this guide to help encourage proper recycling practices.
Printing Nearby:
The UPS store located at the Tampa Convention Center provides business services in-house including high-speed digital copy services, large-format printing, shipping, receiving, fax, and printing services. Comfortable computer workstations are available for email and web. A Graphic Designer’s is on-site to employ at your disposal.

All bathrooms are ADA accessible and there are men’s, women’s, and family restrooms throughout the facility.

Centrally located, Tampa International Airport is just seven miles west of downtown Tampa. On an average day, the airport is home to more than 100,000 visitors. Tampa International Airport offers 273 daily nonstop scheduled departures to 68 domestic destinations and 42 weekly nonstop scheduled departures to five international markets.
